So guys, this is our wrap up of 2019.
And believe me – our story is highly relatable to your trainer business!
Today I saw I cool Instagram story from one of our influencers, @justinjfit, he shared a picture of the power of improving every day.

So as you can see by trying to improve yourself, your business, your skills just by 1% every day, will actually lead to a 37x improvement at the end of the year!
So how to apply this in a business content?
Let me explain…
Our goal at Zenfit has since late 2018 been trying to grow 5% every week.
It doesn’t sound like much, but. if you accumulate that week by week, you suddenly have a booming 6 or even 7 figure business.
To easier comprehend I will convert the weekly growth rate into a monthly growth rate. 5% / weeks is approx. 22% monthly growth (1,05^4 = 1,2155)
Meaning… if we made $10,000 in monthly recurring revenue in January, our goal in February should be to make $12,200.
Again, in March our goal would be $14,884 ($12,200 x 1,22 = 14,884)
As you see, this is a great and simple motivator to fight for in order to grow your revenue.
Let’s go back to 2018…
In 2018 we almost gave up ⠀
And here’s why:⠀
– We had no money left⠀
– We worked 24/7 but didn’t afford to hire any employees ⠀
– Our customers left faster than we could acquire them (really bad business)⠀
– Our marketing efforts didn’t work. It was really expensive for us to convert clients.⠀
– We were burning out at lightning speed!⠀
Something had to be done ⠀
First of all, we had two main concerns. We clearly had to earn more money. Secondly, we had to figure out how to make our customer stay (make them love our product)⠀ ⠀
So instead of developing 200 new features, boosting our marketing budget, lower our prices or hire sales people we did the complete opposite ⠀
We began to call every interested lead before giving them access to our software⠀ ⠀
We tested pricing points, and found we could charge 5x to 7x more than we thought⠀ ⠀
We boosted our cash flow by selling yearly deals (true power of inside sales, as we could convince them over phone⠀ ⠀
We only buit new features or offered new services that we heard again and again over the phone. (This helped us build our now famous meal planner) ⠀ ⠀
Instead of using a ton more on marketing, we learned how to stay on the same budget, but instead decreased our cost per lead drastically⠀
And the end-result?⠀
12 employees, 750% in revenue and with only 3x more customers but who is happily paying us a premium to use our services ⠀
So this is our story about how the power of consistency and persistency can help you learn what will work for your trainer business!
You are not gonna get 50 online clients the first months of your career, but when you finally nail the basics it will be so much faster reaching 100 or even 300 clients! ⠀
It’s all about learning, keep improving and not being afraid of trying new stuff!
When you finally find out what works for your business, you’ll be much faster adapting and doing more of the stuff that works!
Becoming a successful fitness coach is not an overnight success. It requires hard and structured work no matter if you have 50 followers of 50.000 followers.
So don’t get demotivated from other trainers’ success. Instead become motivated to really kick ass the next couple of years, so you can live a life with more freedom than you could ever wish for
